Check out some of most popular free printable articles & ideas:Half Fold Invitations & Cards (Found through-out Moms Break printables directory and our other sites.)While Moms Break calls our half fold free printables - “invitation” it can also be used as a card, announcement, thank you note, stationery, etc. How you use this all depends on what type of text you add to this free printable. Moms Break wants to give you the freedom to use any text you want by adding a text box to type in instead of filling in pre-made blanks. This allows you to show off your own style! These half fold invitations can be found throughout our web site. After typing your text in the text area or copying text from a rich text editor (MS Word), print then fold the invitation in half. These fit in a 6 x 9 envelope. This is a two sided, half fold printable. To handwrite, print then handwrite after printing. *** Personalizing Tips: You can type your text using Microsoft Word, or other word processing software (rich text editor), along with setting font type, size, and color, and then copy and paste the text from the word processor into the personalization area of the free printable. This lets you control the look of your text. * Two Sided Printing. This means the first page of the free printable is the inside of the printable and the second page is the outside of the printable. There is a helpful How To Article for both double sided (two sided) printers and single side printers available at Printer Two Sided, which will open in a new window so you do not leave this printable. While we will refer to this as an invitation, remember it is all up to you how you use this! Ideas for our Invitation (or cards) Crafting: Use a hole-punch around the edges of invitation then thread colorful ribbon or yarn in and out of the holes. Tie ribbon or yarn in a bow after threading the holes to add a creative touch. Use decorative-edge scissors to cut out the invitation to give the invitation a fancy edge. Sprinkle around the invitation with glitter glue to add some color and sparkle to your invitation. Print the invitation on embellished craft paper if your printer will handle this type of paper (most do as long as the embellished craft paper is printer-friendly). After folding the invitation, tie it closed with a ribbon making a bow on the front or top. Use a hole-punch make a hole in corner of the invitation, then using a ribbon make a bow or hanging ribbon for decorative invitation. Decorate the invitation with scrapbook embellishments or stickers. Baby Shower “Guess What’s in the Bag Game!” (Baby shower bags can be found in the Baby Shower Games, Bags, Extras section.)Gather small baby items small enough to fit into the baby shower bags loosely.Baby Item Ideas: (Hint: Print and assemble a test bag to make sure each item fits in the bag. Then print as many bags as you need, one bag per item.) • Odd shaped diaper pin (one with a decorative head) • Baby socks or booties • Baby toys • Baby spoon • Small Pacifier • Baby bottle nipple • One baby wipe • Cotton-tipped swabs (Q-Tips) Or other small baby items will work as long as it fits inside the bag loosely. Depending on how many baby items you have decided to use print the same number of bags. (Optional: You can print a variety of bags offered at Moms Break to have different bags for different baby items.) Assemble the bags and before inserting the items, write a number on each bag. Then make a list of what is in each bag (such as, Bag #1: Diaper Pin, Bag #2: Pacifier). This will be the “answer key” to use at the end of the game. Put the one item in each bag; add a small bit of cotton (pull apart a cotton ball), or shredded paper in the bag and seal. This will make it harder for the guest to guess what in the bag. If the baby item has sharp or hard edges, then wrap in some plastic wrap or put in a plastic sandwich bag before putting it in the bag. At the baby shower give each guest a piece of paper and pen. Pass the bags around, one at a time, and have each person write down their guess of what is in the bag. After all the bags are passed around and everyone has written down their guesses, use the answer key to call out the item in each bag. Have the guests score their own guesses. The game winner is the person who has the most correct guesses. As an alternative, when everyone has guessed what is in the bag, have Mom-to-Be open each bag to show what is in the bag. Each guest scores their own answers. (Be sure to have the rest of what goes with each item to give to Mom-to-Be, such as the other diaper pin, the bottle for the nipple, etc.) Bonus Bag! Squeeze a small bit of baby lotion or diaper rash ointment into a sealable sandwich bag. Seal the bag, squeezing out air as you seal it. Make sure that there is enough lotion or ointment in the plastic bag to make it “squishy” when you feel it. Anyone who guesses what it is wins a prize! Baby shower bags can be found in the Baby Shower Games, Bags, Extras section.

Depending on how many Birthday items you have decided to use, print the same number of bags. Then make a list of what is in each bag (such as, Bag #1: balloon, Bag #2: birthday candle). This will be the “answer key” to use at the end of the game. Put the one item(s) in each bag; add a small bit of confetti (alternative: use cotton balls for less mess, pull apart a cotton ball), or shredded paper in the bag and seal. This will make it harder for the kids to guess what is in the bag. Older Kids: At the Birthday party give each guest a piece of paper and pen. Pass the bags around, one at a time, and have each child write down their guess of what is in the bag. * This is also a fun game to play at home with your kids – Just for fun or a spelling lesson! After all the bags are passed around and everyone has written down their guesses, use the answer key to call out the item in each bag. Have the guests (children) score their own guesses. The game winner is the person who has the most correct guesses. As an alternative for younger kids (but also suitable for older kids) have enough Moms Break birthday bags for each child to win a few bags. Have the children get in a circle, then have the children take turns going to the center of the room where game parent or birthday kid will be seated to hand out bags, one bag to each. If the child can guess what in the bag, he or she can keep it. If not, then the next child comes into the circle to guess what’s in the bag. (Hint: If a one or more of the children {guests} is having trouble winning a bag, make sure to hand them something easy to guess like a birthday candle or toy figurine.) Lay the bag so that “© by MomsBreak.com or licensors. Terms see MomsBreakInc.com” is face up. 3. Fold the two lines marked number 2 inward. Tape or glue these side tabs. 4. Fill the bag with your bag fillers (i.e., candy, party favors, gift card, etc.). 5. Fold down remaining top flap (marked number 3) to close the bag. Tape or glue closed. This is designed with a white shirt in mind, so colors of the transfer may vary when being ironed onto a colored shirt. The type of iron-on transfer paper you use can also affect the color. 2. This image is not reversed so if your iron-on transfer paper instructs you to reverse (mirror) the image before printing, then you will need to pick that setting from your printer options. *** Important! Although most new types of iron-on transfer paper do not require reversing (mirroring), you do need to follow the directions included with the iron-on transfer paper you choose for make. 3. For iron-on transfers that are being put on dark shirts, look for iron-on transfer paper that is for “dark fabric.” You should be able to get this type of iron-on transfer paper wherever transfer paper is sold. 4. When washing any shirt that has an iron-on transfer, it is recommended that you turn the shirt inside out (to prevent the transfer from rubbing on other clothing). It is also recommended that you hang up the shirt to dry, do not put in the dryer. 5. For crafting projects that do not include iron-on transfers, print the design as you would any other free printable.
